Job description

Join to apply for the Parent Partner II role at Seattle Children's . This position will primarily be virtual and may involve some days working in-person at the Magnuson campus of Seattle Children's Hospital in North Seattle. It is a 0.6 FTE position (24 hours per week) with benefits.

A Parent Partner II manages a moderate caseload empowering families caring for children with complex behavioral, mental health, medical and other challenges by providing individualized, strength-based support, education, coaching, information, and resource referrals in collaboration with patients, families and clinical care team members.

Required Education And Experience : High school diploma or equivalent experience. Minimum of one year of experience as a parent partner, peer support, OR at least 1 year of paid experience as a parent partner or peer support in a medical or behavioral health care setting. Demonstrated ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds. Interest in continuing to learn and explore how health equity, diversity, and inclusion impacts the work at Seattle Children's.

Required Credentials : Certified peer support specialist with Washington State.

Preferred : Experience as a parent partner at Seattle Children’s.

Compensation Range : $29.16 - $43.73 per hour.

Salary Information : This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
