Travel Nurse Job Details

Position Type : Travel Operating Room RN

Location : Hattiesburg, Mississippi (Zip : 39402)

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8-hour day shifts (6 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM), 5 shifts / week

Hours per Week : 40

On-Call : 2 weekends / month and 5-7 weekdays / month

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,630–$1,750 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 3 years of Operating Room RN experience

Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to surgical patients

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and surgical instruments

Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery

Respond to emergencies and participate in scheduled on-call rotations

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies
