This is a temporary position with opportunities for continued work after the contract is complete.
Competitive pay-$55 / HR!- Must live in Oregon State and have licensure in Oregon. Not hiring travelers and lodging is not offered for this assignment.
Mileage Reimbursement for commutes beyond 20 miles
8 and 12 Hour Shifts / Assigned Rotation / Day, Evening, and Night shift available.

Responsibilities :
Must committ to scheduled rotation as agreed upon in the contractImplement and maintain established nursing practice objectives and standardsComplete required recordkeeping while admitting, transferring, and discharging residentsCoordinate with nursing staff and support personnel daily to plan shift services, programs, and activities to ensure the resident’s total regimen of patient care is maintainedProvide direct patient care to residentsPrepare and administer medications and review medication cards for completeness and accuracyReview patient care plans for appropriate resident goals, problems, approaches, and revisions based on nursing needsPlan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality patient careSupervise the day-to-day nursing and caregiving activities performed by CNAsProvide guidance and leadership to nursing personnel and make daily rounds of your unit to ensure staff are providing direct care in accordance with resident’s care plan and wishesDevelop and maintain rapport and employee culture with nursing staff, other department personnel, patients and residents, family members, and all other individuals involved in patient careChart nurses’ notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident and resident’s response to careParticipate in facility surveys by authorized government agenciesMaintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelinesQualifications :
A minimum of 1 year experience in Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing is requiredMust possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.Must chart nurses’ notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident and resident’s response to care.Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.Equal Opportunity Employer
