A Typical Day...

As a Tax Advisor, you’ll guide clients in making confident, informed decisions about their finances and taxes, building strong relationships that last year after year. You will join Block Advisors, a branch of H&R Block that specializes in diverse year-round tax and business services.

What We Look For:

• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing business tax returns
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Sales or marketing expertise
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

What You'll Do:

• Build lasting year-round client relationships
• Provide tax preparation, audit support, and planning services
• Conduct tax interviews both in-person and using virtual tools
• Drive business growth and enhance client retention
• Offer IRS support to clients
• Provide tax notice services and, if certified, audit representation
• Continuously grow your tax expertise
• 5+ years of tax experience, including individual tax returns
• Strong communication skills for virtual and in-person interactions
• Familiarity with fast-paced work environments
• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
• Satisfaction of continuing education requirements and IRS/state regulations
