Patient Food Service Attendant, Part-time (Aultman Hospital)

AVI Foodsystems at Aultman Hospital is seeking an applicant for the Patient Food Service Attendant. This position manages the delivery of patient dining. Great starting rate of $15.00/hr weekdays and $16.00/hr weekends with continual opportunities to make more money. The right applicant will possess excellent customer service skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties, Responsibilities and Skills:

• Use an IPAD to enter meal orders and communicate menu choices to patients.
• Serve patient meals accurately and in a timely manner.
• Promote the highest levels of quality and service.
• Active Listening and Speaking – giving full attention to what others are saying.
• Service Orientation – actively looking for ways to help and assist people.
• Reading Comprehension, time management, good judgement, and decision-making
• Holidays are required.
• Rotating Weekends Required
• Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.
• Healthcare experience not required; there is NO moving or repositioning of the patient.
• Professional appearance required.
• Excellent entry level position for any health services major; includes patient interaction and integration with other patient support services
