Job description$30 - $35 per hour Opportunity to provide hands-on patient care in an addiction treatment setting Supportive, collaborative nursing and clinical team Flexibility with PRN scheduling and a culture that values growth Mission-driven environment where your role truly makes a difference We're looking for Licensed Practical Nurses who demonstrate : Flexibility and dependability to support patients and the team Confidence in making sound clinical decisions Strong communication and collaboration skills Resilience in high-stress or challenging scenarios A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Provide direct patient care, monitoring patient safety and compliance with treatment protocols. Continuously assess patients to identify changes in condition and communicate with Physicians or Nurse Practitioners as needed. Take and record vital signs, screen patients upon admission, and assist with admission appropriateness assessments. Administer and dispense medications safely and accurately. Place orders to toxicology and blood analysis laboratories and receive, analyze, and communicate results. Maintain accurate narcotic counts and monitor medication storage to prevent diversion or misuse. Respond promptly to medical emergencies and escalate care appropriately. Supervise patient monitoring and lead patient community meetings when needed. Collaborate with Patient Engagement Specialists and clinical team members to provide consistent, quality care. In the absence of management, act as supervisor on duty to support other team members and maintain clinical operations. Participate in quality improvement activities and compliance initiatives. Active state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required; Registered Nurse (RN) license also accepted. Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, or substance use disorder treatment strongly preferred. Leadership or charge nurse experience preferred. CPR certification required; ACLS certification preferred. First Aid certification required. Ability to occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 lbs. Strong commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate care. Passion or interest in substance use and behavioral health strongly preferred. Commitment to a drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use is essential. Authorization to work in the U.S. required.
