Accounts Payable Clerk

Location : Edison, NJ

Schedule : Monday - Friday

Pay Rate : $22-$24 per hour

Adecco is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk for a valued client in the Edison, NJ area. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform full-cycle accounts payable tasks including data entry, verification, classification, and recording of vendor invoices.
• Ensure all invoices are properly documented, coded, and approved by the appropriate department managers.
• Research and resolve discrepancies involving invoices, purchase orders, and payment approvals.
• Process payments in accordance with company policies and timelines.
• Maintain and update accurate vendor files and records.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, including journal entries and accruals.
• Support sales tax compliance and reporting as needed.
• Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives and maintain department SOPs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and provide financial support across departments.
