Job Description :

Kinbridge at Oviedo is seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1 : 1 Behavioral Caregiver to join our care team. This role provides individualized, one-on-one support to a resident with behavioral needs in a warm, person-centered assisted living environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with special needs, a passion for serving others, strong observation skills, and a calm, supportive approach to care.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct, one-on-one care and supervision to a resident requiring behavioral and emotional support.

Ensure the resident’s safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.

Follow and help implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and family members.

Observe, document, and report behavioral or condition changes promptly to appropriate team members.

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, hygiene, meals, and mobility support.

Encourage engagement and promote independence in a positive and respectful manner.

Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care.

Participate in required trainings and ongoing professional development to maintain compliance and strengthen behavioral care skills.

Qualifications : High school diploma

Prior experience in behavioral support is preferred; ALF or memory care experience a plus.

Ability to remain patient, empathetic, and composed in challenging situations.

Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.

Must pass background screening per Florida AHCA requirements.

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
