Freelance Medical Director

A company is looking for a Freelance VP, Medical Director.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic medical and scientific leadership across assigned accounts and new business projects

Lead and mentor junior team members on an as-needed, project-specific basis

Conduct in-depth literature reviews and synthesize clinical data to support key brand strategies and messaging

Required Qualifications

An MD, PharmD, or PhD degree in a relevant scientific discipline is preferred

5+ years of experience in medical advertising, medical communications, or medical education

Experience in oncology is preferred

Demonstrated success in leading medical strategy for brands and mentoring team members

Strong understanding of clinical research principles, study design, and data interpretation
