The Fire Alarm Estimator position reports to a Fire Alarm Team Leader in the National Operations Center supporting the growth and sales efficiency of the Sales Team covering the US. In this role, this individual will primarily focus on estimating, pricing, and generating proposals, which will ultimately drive growth of the business. This position is offered as a hybrid role, combining the flexibility of remote work with the benefits of in-person collaboration. Team members may be required from time to time to visit the Siemens local office and / or worksite based on project expectations, with the remaining time remote. Specific scheduling may vary based on team needs, project timelines, and individual performance.

As a Fire Alarm Estimator, you will :

• Provide and prepare sales estimates for Solutions and Service Fire projects.
• Increase sales and ensure the target profitability
• Keep current on market business and product trends
• Work with operations, service, procurement, finance, legal, admins and other inside / outside resources (sub-contractors, suppliers) as needed to obtain and close estimates
• Participate in sales meetings, professional association seminars and workshops
• Prepare electrical scope for estimates and RFQ submission
• Review estimates with operations and sales
• Employ time management and leadership skills and self-motivation
• Use and master technical and financial estimating tools
