Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC or CF credentials to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting located in Punta Gorda, FL. This contract position spans the academic school year, offering a 30-hour workweek over four days. The role focuses on supporting a caseload of approximately 50 students aged 14-21 years, requiring expertise in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students to identify areas of need.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy services tailored to each students goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications :

  • Current Florida SLP license required.
  • Candidates with SLP CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or those eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in pediatric settings, healthcare, or educational environments is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage a caseload in a school-based environment.
