Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Kalamazoo, Michigan (ZIP 49048) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 9 / 2026) Shift : 4x10-Hour Day Shifts (07 : 00 – 17 : 30) Hours per Week : 40 (Guaranteed) Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100–$2150 Weekend Requirements : 3 out of 6 weekends per 6-week schedule Holiday Requirements : Per rotation Charting System : Cerner Scrub Color : Provided Registered Nurse Qualifications Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience BLS certification required Experience with Cerner charting system Previous travel nursing experience required Trauma Level II experience required Competency in both circulating and scrubbing; Da Vinci Xi experience preferred Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions considered) OR RN Responsibilities Circulate and scrub for a wide range of surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, gynecological, and trauma surgeries Utilize advanced surgical technology such as Da Vinci Xi, Mako Surgical System, and Hana Table Maintain strict adherence to patient safety and infection control protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Accurately document patient care in Cerner EHR system Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled Float to affiliate hospitals within the Michigan healthcare system as needed Complete required pre-assignment modules (up to 8 hours) Discover the benefits of travel nursing in Kalamazoo, Michigan—enjoy a supportive healthcare environment, local attractions, and rewarding clinical experience.
