Eaton invites individuals ready for a challenge, offering an exceptional third-shift opportunity in our EPG CHD EP Americas division. Work hard Monday through Friday from 10 : 30 pm to 6 : 30 am, and get compensated at $27.96 hourly, with an extra $.60 for night shifts and guaranteed increments at milestone intervals.

What You Will Achieve :

As a key player, you'll ensure our systems run smoothly and effectively by maintaining and improving our equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Resolving equipment issues through rigorous maintenance protocols.
  • Monitoring machinery functionality as part of routine inspection and observation.
  • Executing preventive maintenance on various mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Conducting foundational electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Applying diligent safety practices and reporting any deviations.
  • Participating in and promoting safety initiatives.
  • Maintaining comprehensive maintenance records and overseeing spare part inventories.
  • Ensuring maintenance tools' optimal condition and workspace organization.
  • Facilitating effective communication with operational teams for continuous machinery productivity.
  • Leading knowledge exchange among maintenance group members.

Who We Need :

Mandatory Requirements :

  • Minimum of three-year experience as a maintenance technician in a related field.
  • Technological proficiency including computer and tablet use.
  • Knowledgeable about OSHA and other safety standards.
  • PLC and mechanical systems proficiency.
  • Skilled in interpreting technical blueprints.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of (enter location) will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

    • Preferable Attributes :

  • Further education in electromechanics is favorable.
  • Experience with CNC machinery adds value.

    • Attributes and Skills :

  • Adept in dealing with mechanical / hydraulic systems, welding, and other technical tasks.
  • Basic language and arithmetic proficiency for everyday job functions.
  • Effective articulation with team members for harmonious operations.
