About The Position

Certifications : BLS, CCI RCS, RDCS-Adult or CCI RCS

Must-Have :

• Hospital experience is required
• Charting experience with specific systems is required

Description :

The Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer will be responsible for performing echocardiograms.

The position will float between units as needed.

On-call is required on a rotational basis, including one weekday every two weeks and one weekend every 4-6 weekends.

Weekends are required based on the call coverage or Sunday shift.

Block schedules are required.

The expected patient ratio is 1 : 1.

Preferred patient diagnoses include neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents.

The facility has six staffed outpatient rooms.

Most shifts consist of outpatient schedules, with typical echo exams being performed.

No specialized procedures such as TAVR or Mitra-Clip are conducted here.

Either RDCS-Adult or RCS certification is needed, but only one is required.

Travelers may be expected to float between facilities nearby the contracted facility.

It is mandatory for candidates to have a vehicle for this assignment.

Communication devices will be provided by the employer as needed.

Modules will need to be completed pre-start and annually.

Time spent on modules is self-reported.
