About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Profession : Respiratory Therapist

Shift : 12-Hour Day Shift

Hours per Shift : 72 hours per two weeks

Experience : Minimum 2 years recent respiratory experience, including critical care with pediatrics

License : CRT or RRT certification

Certifications : Active BLS, NRP, and PALS

Must-Have :

• Experience with EKGs
• Experience with EPIC charting

Description :

Provides respiratory therapies for all ages, including newborn to geriatric patients.

Responsible for mechanical ventilator management, arterial blood gas draws and analysis, and emergent airway management.

Delivers medication nebulization and conducts EKGs and other diagnostics.

Utilizes equipment such as adult ventilators, blood gas acquisition systems, non-invasive ventilation, EKG acquisition tools, bedside spirometry, and aerosol therapy.

Proficient in computer skills, including Meditech and Pyxis Supply Stations.

The position floats into all areas to complete necessary duties.

12-hour shifts include day shifts and rotating weekends.

Dress code is scrubs, which are not provided.
