Mechanic I

JOB SUMMARY :

Responsible for the timely and effective completion of all work orders assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

High School Diploma or equivalent with six months of maintenance experience.

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

Must possess a valid State of Ohio driver's license and show evidence of personal vehicle insurance with adequate liability protection.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF TILE POSITION :

• Perform grounds maintenance duties as directed, including but not limited to lawn mowing, weed control, snow removal, litter control, and checking dumpsters' conditions.
• Perform janitorial duties as required.
• Paint apartments as directed.
• Notify the Maintenance Supervisor as to disabled inoperable vehicles, broken glass, torn screens and / or residents with debris / junk outside their unit. Daily inspection of assigned vehicle and upkeep of mileage log.
• Perform minor maintenance repairs as directed.
• Complete work orders as directed.

Salary range - $19.60 - $22.85 per hour
