Job Title
University Radiology is looking for a full-time Generalist for our busy, high-volume Patient Financial Services Department at our East Brunswick, NJ Business Office.
Monday - Friday 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Correct and resubmit claims to third party payers
- Accurately scan hard copy EOBs and correspondence
- Accurately enter denial codes into billing system
- Accurately enter and / or update patient demographics, insurance information and any other information that may resolve the account
- Handle correspondence daily, including entering insurance denials
- Provides receptionist switchboard coverage as needed, utilizing multi line phone system
- Cross train with business support team to assist with both outgoing and incoming mail
- Print and mail radiology reports and claim forms as needed
- Upload radiology reports and supporting documentation to payer portals as needed
- Assist collectors and managers with payer projects as needed
- Comply with established policies and procedure, objectives, HIPAA and safety standards
