Plant Manager

Eaton's Fluid & Motion Control (FMC) division within the Aerospace group is seeking a Plant Manager to join our team based out of our Irvine, CA location. Relocation assistance is available for candidates within the US. This is an opportunity for a high-potential, experienced Plant / Factory leader from aerospace or another industry to drive results and build relationships within a complex, growth business.

Our Irvine site is a complex, vertically integrated site in the US, producing airframe valves, gauges, pumps, and aerial and ground refueling components. This is a non-union site with around 150 employees across 2 shifts.

Eaton's Plant Managers are responsible for driving strategic and operational leadership. They drive growth strategy and organizational direction to meet and exceed short and long-term business goals. Our leaders will foster an environment of engagement and inclusion for all employees and act with advocacy, empathy, and accountability.

What You'll Do :

You will effectively organize, lead, and manage all functional elements of the plant. You will drive improvement in both financial performance and High Five operational metricsincluding safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivityby deploying the Eaton Business System (EBS). You will utilize EBS tools such as MESH, EQMS, ELSS, and others to achieve plant goals in alignment with corporate and divisional strategies. You will support the growth and development of the workforce to foster a high-performance work culture, with a strong emphasis on inclusion and diversity. You will be responsible for all short-term tactical actions and long-term strategic initiatives to create a world-class manufacturing site.

Set overall plant policies and procedures to ensure effective operations consistent with the Eaton Business System, Values and Philosophy.

Coordinate and direct, through managers, all functions of facility operations, including but not limited to Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, SCM, OpEx, HR, and Finance.

Manage and oversee operating performance through the effective use of the Balanced Score Card process and structured problem solving.

Direct and mentor the Euclid leadership team in the performance of their respective roles in alignment with the Eaton Leadership model.

Foster an environment that promotes Eaton's goals, encourages continuous improvement, and builds customer relationships.

Drive compliance with the ethics policy and hold others accountable for ethical conduct.

Develop controls and critically review operational results in reference to planned objectives.

Be accountable for the day-to-day decisions that directly impact the quality, efficiency, and profitability of the overall plant.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Management positions Experience in Lean Manufacturing Techniques Minimum 4 years leading a plant / factory This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8U.S.C. 1158.

Preferred Qualifications : Masters Degree or MBA preferred from an accredited institution Experience within a top-tier, multinational manufacturing company Experience in various areas of operations and supply chain within a related industry

Skills : Good understanding of administrative knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure analysis, and wage and salary administration Ability to work cross functionally and drive results even without authority Broad knowledge of product and manufacturing processes Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong communication skills; comfortable facilitating teams and groups and working with all levels in the organization Perseverance and leadership to manage projects and drive for results Ability to plan, organize, build effective teams, and motivate others Innovative mindset and ability to facilitate team sessions
