Afternoon Babysitter / Housekeeper

We are seeking an organized, reliable, responsible, and energetic individual, fluent in English, to help keep our home running smoothly and assist our 11-year-old with afterschool activities and homework in the Forest Hills neighborhood of NW DC 20008. The role is part-time, Monday through Friday, from 1 : 30 p.m. to 6 : 30 p.m., offering flexibility for a 20 or 30-hour work week. Responsibilities include housekeeping and light household management from 1 : 30 p.m. to 3 : 30 p.m., including tasks like managing the dishwasher, laundry, walking the dogs once, light vacuuming, and meal prep. From 3 : 30 p.m. to 6 : 30 p.m., you will provide direct childcare and transport to afterschool activities. Experience working with kids with ADHD is a plus. Our daughter, 11 years old, is smart, fun-loving, funny, determined, and kind. The start date is January 1, 2026, with flexibility considered. Compensation is $25 per hour.
