About The Position

Job Title : Surgical Tech

Profession : Surgical Services

Specialty : OR Tech / Surgical Tech

Duration : 15 weeks

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel

License : GA or Compact license required

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

• Client, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Ortho experience

Description : Sensitive unit.

No holiday requests for time off will be approved during certain blackout dates.

Service lines include Bariatrics, Urology, Client, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics.

Weekend block schedule : Friday to Sunday.

Variable call required, to be discussed during interview.

Candidates need to float within facility and scope of practice, as well as to Outpatient as needed.

Unit accepts first-time travelers.

Candidates will be clinically reviewed to determine fit.

Clinical screens will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.

Travelers are expected to be flexible with scheduling.

Maximum requested time off is 7 days.

Full compliance is required for timely start.

Holiday policy requires availability to work during major holidays occurring during the assignment period.

Travelers must be open to working both major and minor holidays as designated.

Prior successful experience is preferred for potential return travelers.

References must consist of two supervisory references.

Travelers will be expected to comply with all position-specific requirements.

Module hours will be completed during orientation and vary by specialty.

Modules are recorded via transcripts.
