What You Will Do

  • Supervise a team to maintain and enhance vacuum coater equipment while developing employee skillset for optimal performance
  • Advance and improve preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and schedules with plant engineering support to ensure equipment reliability
  • Proactively seek and share knowledge with other coating facilities and / or equipment manufacturers for best practices
  • Track all repairs and maintenance activities performed on process equipment in the department
  • Implement design & equipment improvement projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the coater process
  • Evaluate and recommend future equipment upgrades and capital investment requirements
  • Train and partner with Operators and Process Engineers to improve processes and equipment

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Engineering experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Fundamental knowledge of industrial equipment
  • Experience in a 24 / 7 manufacturing environment
  • Available to support a 24 / 7 / 365 continuous manufacturing facility
  • What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's in science or engineering discipline
  • Supervisory and leadership experience in a continuous manufacturing setting
  • Experience implementing preventive and predictive maintenance tools for equipment
  • Experience in Optical Thin Film technologies and vacuum-related technologies, focusing on a reactive magnetron sputtering process and equipment
