JOB DESCRIPTION :
Provides entry level professional nursing care to patients in varying states of health and illness. Working closely with the preceptor during the initial orientation period, the Staff Nurse I functions as an essential member of nursing and multidisciplinary teams providing direct care to patients and families, teaching, and preparation for continuing care during and following care transitions.
EDUCATION :
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required. ADN required, BSN preferred.
EXPERIENCE :
Registered Nurse, currently licensed in Vermont or a graduate nurse who is license-eligible for the first time and is awaiting State Board results.
