Description
As a Senior Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support. You will work closely with customers to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of their systems, troubleshooting, inspections, resolving technical issues, and providing guidance. Your role will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving the success of our field service operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct system maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support technicians and be available for after-hours support as needed.
- Provide detailed notes on work orders daily.
- Perform work in challenging positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and multi-meters effectively.
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as required.
Requirements
Notifier and / or Gamewell Certification, NICET, or State Licenses related to applicable disciplines.Minimum of 5 years in a technical field capacity within fire alarm systems, with leadership experience.In-depth knowledge of fire alarm systems, plans, specifications, and contracting relationships.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.Excellent customer service skills with experience in technical support, both on-site and via phone.Additional Details
