Responsibilities

Prime Hospital -Located in Philadelphia is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs)

• Provide counseling and education to patients regarding surgical and anesthetic options
• Perform thorough anesthetic focused assessment
• Determine safest patient focused plan for anesthesia, analgesia, multi modal pain management, post operative recovery and discharge to home
• Ensure patient understanding and obtain anesthetic specific informed consent
• Order and administer preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative anesthetic medications, including appropriate antiemetics, hemodynamic agents and controlled substances
• Initiate anesthesia by securing the airway (if appropriate), maintain appropriate anesthetic depth, and conduct a controlled emergence and extubation (if appropriate) for given anesthetic
• Complete post operative assessment
• Participate and conduct anesthesia related educational programs
