About The Position

License : SC or Compact License required

Certifications : BLS, radiation badge needs to be provided by parent company

Must-Have :

Experience in ophthalmology, ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, endocrine, surgical oncology, plastics, robotics, and total joints.

Description :

Position / specialty : Ambulatory OR RN.

Manager will accept 3x12 or 4x10 schedules.

Shifts are from 06 : 30 to 17 : 00 or 06 : 30 to 19 : 00.

One late week required every 4 weeks to complete cases.

No weekends required.

No on-call requirement.

Float within perioperative facility may be required.

Open to accommodating block schedules at manager's discretion.

Clienttion badge is mandatory.

Unit has 9 operating rooms.

Candidates should be proficient in specialties relevant to the caseload.

First-time travelers not accepted.

Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius.

All RTO must be submitted during application process.

Travelers may be called off up to 10 hours in a two-week period.

May be required to precept a care team member in the operating room.

During hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity from August to September.

Previous permanent staff must be separated from the system for one year before returning as a traveler.

MUST prioritize candidates with active South Carolina RN licenses.

RTO guidelines require 7 days or less of non-holiday time off for auto offers.

Only one unit / campus can be submitted at a time.

Modules are non-billable, with an average of 4 hours spent on them.
