Hospitalist MD, Internal Medicine

Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is seeking a dedicated Hospitalist MD to join our exceptional team of healthcare professionals at a well-known hospital facility in Clarksburg, WV.

In this important role, you will provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, managing their treatment and coordinating with specialists to ensure optimal recovery.

Your responsibilities will include conducting daily rounds, performing patient assessments, establishing treatment plans, and collaborating closely with nursing and ancillary staff to deliver high-quality care.

This position requires board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, along with an active medical license. U.S. Citizenship is also required.

The Hospitalist role includes a full-time schedule with shift-based coverage to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform daily rounds on hospitalized patients, assessing their progress and treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating with specialists and healthcare teams.
• Manage a wide range of medical conditions, making timely decisions for patient care.
• Ensure thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient safety and care standards.

Minimum Requirements :

Must have experience in internal medicine / hospital medicine , with demonstrated clinical competence. No exact year count stated, but privileging requires peer references + professional experience showing ability to practice independently.

This is a contract opportunity and full-time hours. We have 2 Full time opportunities, and 1 on-call position. Compensation is hourly plus benefits or 1099.
