Shipping and Receiving Clerk- Clearwing

Function :

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk assumes primary responsibility for preparing, tracking, logging, and distributing all incoming / outgoing Federal Express, UPS, and local delivery shipments (domestic and international).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare items for shipment : Pack, seal and label as required.
• Determine method of shipping utilizing knowledge of shipping products, routes, and rates.
• Prepare shipping documents.
• Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or issue instructions for shipping and delivery of packages.
• Verify and enter records of outgoing shipments in the company ERP system.
• Receive incoming shipments using the company ERP system; verify accuracy of items received.
• Deliver or route materials to all departments using hand truck, delivery cart or forklift.
• Communicate damages, shortages, or nonconformance to appropriate company personnel.
• Collaborate with multiple internal departments to ensure inbound / outbound packages are delivered and received in a timely manner.
• Maintain required documentation for all incoming / outgoing Federal Express, UPS, and local delivery shipments.
• Participate in loading and unloading trucks when necessary.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
• Barcode new stock or gear.
• Other duties may be assigned.
