This position is located in Melbourne, Florida . The Program Manager 1 will support the Training and Ground Systems IPT within the Strategic Command, Control and Communications Systems Business Unit. Responsibilities include :

  • Leading cross-functional IPTs to meet program cost, schedule, and technical performance goals.
  • Managing risk and opportunities.
  • Leading Supplier Management Teams to meet objectives.
  • Assessing issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Delivering presentations to stakeholders.
  • Developing metrics for monitoring project health and guiding intervention and problem-solving efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading diverse technical teams, navigating internal processes, managing suppliers, and communicating effectively. We offer flexible work arrangements, a 9 / 80 schedule, learning opportunities, and a supportive team environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of related experience, or STEM degree with 5 years of experience; or Master's degree with 4 years of experience, or STEM Master's with 3 years of experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience with EVMS or CAM.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cross-functional engagement across engineering, manufacturing, and support functions.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management.
  • Managing programs / projects exceeding $20 million / year with Profit & Loss responsibilities.
  • Compensation and Benefits

    Salary Range : $112,200 - $168,200. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plans, paid holidays, and PTO. Bonuses and incentives may apply.
