The Protective Services Agent reports to the Manager of Protective Services within the Department of Security Services, part of CU Boulder's Division of Public Safety. The Division promotes a culture of ethics, integrity, and safety in alignment with CU Boulder's commitment to operational excellence.
The agent's primary responsibility is to support the Division's mission by fostering and maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This is achieved through direct protection services for principal(s), supervision of access control measures, and coordination with law enforcement and campus partners. The successful candidate will build collaborative relationships across departments, incorporate safety innovations, and uphold high levels of integrity and security in protective services.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Three years of experience that includes progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of public safety and protective services.
Equivalent combination of education and experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis.
