Senior Project Architect – Jacobs Join Jacobs to shape innovative architectural solutions across critical sectors, including data centers, commercial, advanced manufacturing, life science, and other industrial facilities. This hybrid, US-wide opportunity offers remote flexibility while collaborating in a local Jacobs office for team meetings. Base Pay $132,900 – $174,450 per year Responsibilities Research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for diverse clients. Apply architectural design knowledge, manage zoning, building codes, and building systems and materials. Mentor and lead less experienced architects and designers alongside technical and engineering discipline leads. Deliver excellence in all project phases—from planning through construction administration and close‑out—while maintaining firm‑wide quality standards. Collaborate with Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates to maximize design, digital technology, and support capabilities. Support advanced technology facilities, including Open AI and other critical infrastructure. Qualifications Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited program. 15+ years of professional experience. Professional architectural license in multiple U.S. states. Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite. Extensive knowledge of building codes and other regulations. Understanding of scope of work, budgeting, and schedule review. Ability to lead small architectural teams and collaborate across multiple disciplines. Willingness to travel to U.S. project sites. Preferred: Master’s degree in Architecture. Preferred: Experience designing advanced facilities (data centers, life science, or other industrial facilities with office environments). Preferred: Participation in professional organizations. Preferred: LEED AP credentials.
