Position

Support Engineer / Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Provides installation, testing and maintenance of network cabling and infrastructure
• Provides installation and maintenance of Access Control System wiring and locking mechanisms
• Provides support for all facilities in the Midland / Odessa area
• Assist with deployment of on-premises cabling infrastructure as needed and install hardware such as conference room setups, switches, Ethernet cabling, cameras and Access points
• Performs troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose communications issues related to cabling and or infrastructure components or locking mechanisms
• Creates and maintains appropriate documentation of cabling infrastructure
• Supports efforts with the facilities maintenance team as time and availability permits
• Escalates complex issues to subject matter experts as appropriate
• Performs other related duties as assigned
