Job Description

As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking a School Social Worker to provide in-person services for students receiving special services in a New Jersey school setting.

Position Details :

Schedule : 8 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday

This position specifically serves a program for male students requiring social, emotional, and behavioral support . Due to the nature of counseling sessions and the need to ensure privacy, comfort, and appropriate supervision , the school requires a male social worker for this role in accordance with a Bona Fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ) exception.

Qualifications :

Current New Jersey School Social Worker certification

Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances

Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities May Include :

Providing social-emotional and behavioral counseling for male students

Supporting student achievement and emotional well-being

Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data

Coaching students on self-regulation, social skills, and goal-setting

Collaborating with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams

Developing and implementing IEPs
