Home Health Aide (HHA) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in Hudson Valley

Multiple Locations Across New York

Up to $22.00 / hour | Full-Time | Part-Time | Per-Diem

Qualifications

PCA or HHA Certification (New York State required)

Graduate of a NYS Department of Health-approved HHA program or currently enrolled under RN supervision

At least 18 years old; ability to read and write in English

Must meet NYS DOH physical and annual compliance requirements (PPD / QuantiFERON, TB questionnaire, chest x-ray if applicable)

12 hours of annual in-service training

Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, grooming, feeding, and scheduling appointments

Help with safe transfers, ambulation, and prescribed exercises under RN supervision

Monitor and report vital signs, weight, and intake / output as directed

Prepare modified diets and maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy environment while protecting client confidentiality
