• Obtain an accurate set of vitals on neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients for both sick and wellness visits
• Acquire patient histories and chief complaints
• Prepare and administer medications, immunizations, and breathing treatments as well as perform suture removals and ear washes
• Run several diagnostic tests including urinalysis, fingersticks, viral and bacterial swabs, and hearing / vision screenings
• Prepare outside lab tests and call for pickup
• Appropriately document administered immunizations / medications, procedures, and diagnostic tests
• Stock / clean the lab and examination rooms
• Inform parents and providers of diagnostic test results and / or treatment recommendations
• Complete a variety of administrative tasks including filling out patient forms, organizing incoming faxes, and obtaining prescription refill messages to forward to the provider
