GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Provides administrative services under the general supervision of the Director of Residential Services. Is responsible for the overall operations of all Pathfinder Inc, Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF / IID).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implements procedures and programs that ensure ICF / IID regulations compliance.
- Ensures job orientation and in-service training to all administrative and professional staff that is focused on the developmental, behavioral and health needs of the ICF / IID clients.
- Develops onsite Pathfinder ICF / IID procedures and their implementation with regard to resident death or injury; absence and search; criminal activity; abuse / neglect; natural disasters; serious accidents; and disruption of services, reporting all incidents to the Directors of Compliance & Residential Programs.
- Develops, manages and coordinates the habilitative services provided at the residential site, in the community.
- Oversees the delivery of care, training, and habilitative services.
- Consults on policies and procedures to control the spread of communicable disease.
- When needed participates in the development of plans of correction and operational plans, as they relate to the operation of the program.
- Assures facilities are maintaining a safe, peaceful, clean condition.
- Assures all forms and records are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensures that all Office of Long Term Care (OLTC) licensure and certification criteria are met along with CARF accreditation standards required.
- Ensures that the facilities maintain a high level of occupancy and that as vacancies occur, they are filled as soon as possible.
- Monitors budgets and staffing levels to ensure maximum efficiency cost effectiveness.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field plus 4 years related experience and / or training, and 4 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver's License, current auto liability insurance and registration and be physically able to drive to various locations in Arkansas.
