Job description

FOX is seeking a top caliber Fitness Specialist to join our growing team in the Chalfont, PA area. Start your career today and join our fight to abolish ageism.

This position is approximately 5-6 hours a week with room to grow!

  • Senior Living
  • 1 : 1s and small groups
  • Ideal hours would be sometime between 9a-2p / M-F

Founded in 1998, FOX was the FIRST private practice in the country to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an  in-home setting for the older adult population .  Helping patients restore the quality of life they deserve and desire, our focus is the rehabilitation of lives delivered through evidence-based therapy with innovative and proactive treatment.

The Fi tness Specialist opportunity entails the following :

  • Patient continuity : Patients are prescribed exercise programs to maintain functional levels after discharge from rehabilitation services.
  • Excellent support system : Fox provides significant support for our Fitness Specialists through leadership, clinical education, and an assigned Program Manager .

    Requirements :

  • Must have one of the following : ​​ ​​ Bachelors in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology; Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred (i.e., ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA); or p rior experience as a fitness trainer, with willingness to become a Certified Personal Trainer
  • Routine travel to patient residences and between Senior Living Communities.
  • Expand territory as needed.
  • Travel as needed per practice requirements.
  • CPR Certification
  • P revious experience working with older adults in a proactive and wellness setting preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
