PCSI is seeking a motivated and experienced Planner Estimator Lead to join our Operations Support team at the Detroit Arsenal. This role is critical to the success of our pavement program and the project work under our Base Operations contract. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, planning, and estimating skills to oversee facility maintenance and minor construction duties, while mentoring a team of four. This position is in Warren, MI., and reports to the Operations Support Manager.

SHIFT : 7 : 30 am 4 : 00 pm Monday Friday (subject to adjustment based on operational needs)

Rate of pay : $49.16 per hour (union position) with annual increases plus Health & Welfare

What You'll Do as a Planner Estimator Lead :

• Leads the project team, comprised of Planner Estimators and personnel as assigned by the manager.
• Projects include commercial and industrial equipment maintenance, repair, renovation, and new construction.
• Assists in planning electrical systems, interior and exterior utility systems, carpentry and structural work, concrete, pavement, plumbing, HVAC, BAS, fire control systems, physical security structures, and other facility-related systems.
• Coordinate and work with Garrison employees, subcontractors, union skill trades, and others from the inception of the bidding / estimating phase to project completion.
• Maintains and provides schedules, as-built, contracts, bill of materials, and statuses of ongoing projects to be delivered to the Directorate of Public Works periodically or as directed.
• Able to perform inspections individually and in coordination with quality assurance for projects and tasks on commercial / industrial buildings, both historical and non-historical.
• Research materials, estimate labor costs, and quality vendors are needed based on project-specific requirements.
