Mechanical Assembler (wave / handload) - graveyard shift

Overview

Assemble PCB parts, pieces and / or products using a variety of tools equipment according to required specifications, processes, and procedures in an area of production in a manufacturing environment. Ensure that all parts fit correctly and are suitable for final product.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Position parts and subassemblies by following assembly instructions and drawings.
• Assembles components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed conveyor sections.
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer\'s instructions; reporting malfunctions.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Provide on-the-job training for new employees when appropriate.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Reads work instructions and C-CAM.

Job Qualifications

Education : Secondary, High School

Experience : 1+ years manufacturing experience

Required Skill : Machines related to manufacturing
