Patient Care Assistant
Ellison 10 is seeking a Patient Care Assistant, with Day, Evening or Night availability, and to provide rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Ellison 10 is a thirty-six bed adult in-patient Cardiac Stepdown unit (SDU) which accommodates intermediate level of cardiac care. Patients on this unit are complex cardiac and medical patients. The population includes cardiac arrhythmia patients requiring medical management, heart failure patients awaiting transplant and requiring intensive monitoring and coronary artery disease patients.
Schedule : Days (7am-3pm), Evenings (3-11pm) and / or Nights (11pm-7am) - Mandatory holiday shifts schedule.

Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating.

Education : High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Licenses and Credentials : Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Certified Medical Assistant [National Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic [Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services preferred Nursing Assistant [LNA - New Hampshire] - New Hampshire Board of Nursing preferred
Experience : Experience working in patient care / elder care 1-2 years preferred
