Description :
Must have an active state license upon submission.
General certification requirements include BLS certification.
Active state license, ARRT(N) or NMTCB certifications are required.
Two years of experience preferred.
Hospital experience is a plus.
Ability to start IVs is mandatory.
Experience with a Nemesis machine is preferred.
Key types of imaging / studies performed include stress testing with a high emphasis on cardiac procedures.
Duties include performing Cardiac Nuclear Stress, Lexi scans, MPI experience, MPI Lexi scan, MPI visibility, Multigated Acquisition (MUGA), and Cardiac Amyloid PYP testing.
Accept and check in isotopes upon delivery.
Utilize a Nemesis machine for logging isotopes, doses, and remaining activity.
After orientation, the technologist will operate independently.
No floating to other areas is required; the focus will be solely on Nuclear Medicine with an emphasis on cardiac procedures.
The department has one scanner.
Average number of scans / studies per day is 6 to 8.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) used is EPIC and Picture Archive & Communication System (PACS) is Visage.
Equipment includes a Cardio MD gamma camera system.
A manager or director will be available on shifts.
Registered Radiology Assistants will assist in procedures.
A cardiologist is in-house, with an NP overseeing the procedures in the suite.
Self-scheduling is not allowed; shifts are 0630 to 1500.
There are no weekend or holiday requirements.
No call or standby requirements are necessary.
The dress code requires black scrubs.
Two weeks of unit-specific orientation will be provided, based on experience.
Looking for someone to provide excellent customer service.
