About This Opportunity
The Accounts Payable Manager is an integral part of the Finance Department and will report directly to the Corporate Controller. This person is responsible for management of the accounts payable team and will be focused on process enhancement and timely payment.
Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of accounts payable
- Supervises and trains local AP team and offshore AP team
- Documents and streamlines AP processes
- Integrates current processes into recently implemented AP software
- Works closely with Controller to execute a shared vision for improvement within the department
- Efficiently deploys team members to complete critical projects
- Prioritizes and communicates invoice processing issues to cross-functional team members and the AP software support team
- Designs processes to ensure timely vendor payments
- Calculates and tracks metrics to drive productivity
- Builds and maintains relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
