Senior Tax Accountant

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our client's team. In this role, you will take the lead on managing intricate tax matters, providing strategic advice to clients, and mentoring less experienced staff. Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review complex federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Ensure all tax filings comply with current regulations and meet deadlines.
• Conduct detailed tax research to support planning strategies and reduce liabilities.
• Act as the primary advisor to clients, delivering proactive tax planning and savings strategies.
• Address inquiries and correspondence from tax authorities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Mentor and supervise less experienced staff, providing technical guidance and constructive feedback.
• Analyze financial statements and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Develop trusted relationships with individual clients, nonprofits, and small businesses.
• Contribute to firm-wide process improvements and quality assurance initiatives.
• Support operational efficiencies and suggest cost-saving improvements where applicable.
