Porter

As a Porter, you will play a key role in keeping our community looking its best—from cleaning common areas to helping with grounds. Your work will enhance the experience of every resident, visitor, and team member, making our property feel like home.

What You will Do:

  • Keep the community looking pristine – Inspect the property daily and remove litter to maintain a clean, welcoming environment
  • Weather-ready property care – De-ice walkways and shovel snow to keep pathways safe in the winter months.
  • Keeping all Common areas clean
  • Lend a helping hand – Assist with light maintenance duties, including changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, caulking, painting, and minor repairs.
  • Prepare apartments for new residents – Help with make-readies by removing trash from vacant units, checking appliances, replacing smoke detector batteries, and ensuring move-in readiness.
  • Prioritize safety – Follow all safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and local, state, and federal laws.
  • Support special projects – Be ready to assist with additional tasks and projects as needed to improve the community.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • A passion for outdoor work – You enjoy being active, working with your hands, and creating beautiful spaces.
  • Basic maintenance knowledge – Familiarity with touch up painting, cleaning hallways and laundry facilities.
  • Dependability & teamwork – You show up on time, work efficiently, and support your team.
  • Strong communication skills – Ability to interact professionally with residents, coworkers, and management.
  • Comfortable with physical activity – Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds, climb up to 40 feet, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and perform physical tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Up to one year of housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

  • 401K: Bridge Investment Group will match your contributions dollar-for-dollar, up to 6% of your pay. These contributions are fully vested immediately. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled at a 4% contribution rate. *The employee must be at least 21 years of age and have worked for the Company for at least 60 days.
  • Paid Time Off: Employee will accrue 5.23 hours of paid time off per pay period for a total of 17 days per year.
  • 11 Paid Holidays per year.
  • Following six (6) months of employment at the Company, you will be eligible per birth, adoption or placement of a child for four (4) weeks of paid parental leave as the primary caregiver to the child or two weeks of paid parental leave as the secondary caregiver to the child. Following two years of employment at the Company, you will be eligible for twelve weeks of paid parental leave per birth, adoption, or placement of a child if you are the primary caregiver of the child.
  • Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $5,000 per year of pre-approved tuition expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of approved documentation. Repayment obligations may apply if employment terminates prior to 24 months.

Porter (Encargado de Áreas Verdes)

Como Portero, desempeñarás un papel clave para mantener nuestra comunidad impecable, desde la limpieza de las áreas comunes hasta la limpieza de los jardines. Qué harás:

Mantener la comunidad impecable: inspeccionar la propiedad a diario y retirar la basura para mantener un ambiente limpio y acogedor.

Cuidado de la propiedad para el clima: deshielo de los pasillos y pala de nieve para mantener los caminos seguros durante los meses de invierno.

Mantener todas las áreas comunes limpias.

Echar una mano: ayudar con tareas de mantenimiento ligero, como cambiar bombillas, reemplazar filtros de aire, sellar, pintar y realizar reparaciones menores.

Preparar los apartamentos para los nuevos residentes: ayudar con los preparativos retirando la basura de las unidades vacías, revisando los electrodomésticos, reemplazando las baterías de los detectores de humo y asegurándose de que estén listos para la mudanza.

Priorizar la seguridad: Seguir todas las normas de seguridad y garantizar el cumplimiento de las políticas de la empresa, las normas de Vivienda Justa y las leyes locales, estatales y federales.

Apoyar proyectos especiales: Estar dispuesto a colaborar con tareas y proyectos adicionales según sea necesario para mejorar la comunidad.

Qué aportas al equipo:

Pasión por el trabajo al aire libre: Disfrutas de la actividad física, el trabajo manual y la creación de espacios hermosos.

Conocimientos básicos de mantenimiento: Conocimiento de retoques de pintura, limpieza de pasillos y lavandería.

Confiabilidad y trabajo en equipo: Llegas puntualmente, trabajas eficientemente y apoyas a tu equipo.

Sólidas habilidades de comunicación: Capacidad para interactuar profesionalmente con residentes, compañeros de trabajo y la gerencia.

Sentido cómodo con la actividad física: Capacidad para levantar un mínimo de 11 kg, subir hasta 12 metros, trabajar al aire libre en cualquier condición climática y realizar tareas físicas. Requisitos:

Diploma de bachillerato o equivalente

Se prefiere hasta un año de experiencia en limpieza

Habilidad para operar equipos y herramientas de limpieza

Reembolso de matrícula: Se reembolsarán hasta $5,000 anuales en gastos de matrícula preaprobados tras la presentación de la documentación aprobada. Podrían aplicarse obligaciones de reembolso si la relación laboral finaliza antes de los 24 meses.
