Senior Backend Software Engineer

A company is looking for a Sr Software Engineer, Backend to join their product and engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and system integrations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver impactful features

Champion best practices in testing, code quality, and CI / CD automation

Required Qualifications

5+ years of backend engineering experience, preferably in SaaS or EdTech

Strong proficiency in Node.js and familiarity with modern stacks like TypeScript / Express or Python / FastAPI

Experience building and scaling RESTful APIs, with knowledge of GraphQL as a bonus

Proficiency in cloud-native environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability tools
