Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of interventional radiology and body experience, ARRT certification, and strong clinical skills.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in an acute care hospital setting within the Interventional Radiology department
  • Department includes two IR suites and one CT room for additional procedures
  • Schedule consists of 4x10 hour shifts, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, with on-call requirements
  • On-call required for at least 8-10 days per month with a 30-minute response time, including weekends and holidays
  • No floating to other departments is required
  • Procedures include interventional radiology and neuro interventional procedures
  • Epic EMR is used for charting
  • Hospital-provided scrubs are required
  • Main responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional radiology and neuro interventional procedures
  • Work alongside an IR physician and a physician assistant during the day
  • Average number of scans and studies per day may vary
  • Hospital-provided scrubs must be worn
  • RTO requests must be discussed prior to assignment
  • Candidates who have been directly employed by related facilities within the past year are not eligible
  • A 50-mile radius rule may apply for AZ, NV, NE, IA, and MN

  • Minimum of 2 years interventional radiology experience is required
  • Experience with body interventions required; neuro IR experience preferred
  • Active state or compact (NLC) licensure required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
  • Current ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
  • COVID vaccination is required
  • Must be able to start IVs and work with specialized IR and CT equipment
  • Experience with Epic and relevant PACS systems preferred
  • Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
  • Two professional references (one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one supervisor or peer from within the last 3 years) are required
