American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of interventional radiology and body experience, ARRT certification, and strong clinical skills.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in an acute care hospital setting within the Interventional Radiology departmentDepartment includes two IR suites and one CT room for additional proceduresSchedule consists of 4x10 hour shifts, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, with on-call requirementsOn-call required for at least 8-10 days per month with a 30-minute response time, including weekends and holidaysNo floating to other departments is requiredProcedures include interventional radiology and neuro interventional proceduresEpic EMR is used for chartingHospital-provided scrubs are requiredMain responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional radiology and neuro interventional proceduresWork alongside an IR physician and a physician assistant during the dayAverage number of scans and studies per day may varyHospital-provided scrubs must be wornRTO requests must be discussed prior to assignmentCandidates who have been directly employed by related facilities within the past year are not eligibleA 50-mile radius rule may apply for AZ, NV, NE, IA, and MN\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years interventional radiology experience is requiredExperience with body interventions required; neuro IR experience preferredActive state or compact (NLC) licensure required at time of consideration; license required if applicableCurrent ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications requiredCOVID vaccination is requiredMust be able to start IVs and work with specialized IR and CT equipmentExperience with Epic and relevant PACS systems preferredCopy of driver’s license required for considerationTwo professional references (one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one supervisor or peer from within the last 3 years) are required\n Benefits\n
