Key Job Details - Michigan Nursing Jobs Location : Battle Creek, MI 49017 Healthcare Setting : 15-bed LDRP unit, 3 triage bays, 2 operating rooms Contract Type : Travel Registered Nurse Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Nursing Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Float Requirement : May float to other units or Bronson Methodist Hospital Scrubs : Provided Estimated Weekly Salary : $1910 - $1960 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Michigan RN license At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience (2 years preferred) Required Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, AWHONN Intermediate and / or NCC C-EFM Preferred Certification : AWHONN Advanced Clinical Skills : Circulating nurse, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), Triage (Scrub experience preferred) Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions accepted) Professional references required Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive antepartum, labor and delivery, OR circulating, scrub nurse, newborn nurse at delivery, and couplet care Perform lab draws and newborn hearing screens (training provided on ALGO 5 machine) Float to other areas of LDRP and Bronson Methodist Hospital as needed Adhere to AWHONN staffing and patient ratio guidelines Document patient care using EPIC electronic health record system Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services Discover the welcoming community of Battle Creek, Michigan, with its excellent local dining, beautiful parks, and vibrant downtown.
