  • Location : Huntingdon, PA (16652) – Pennsylvania healthcare jobs\n
  • Facility Type : Community Hospital, IMCU – Med / Surg Telemetry\n
  • Position : Registered Nurse (RN), Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing\n
  • Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 20 / 2025 – End : 1 / 19 / 2026)\n
  • Shifts : Night shift (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am) primarily; occasional day shift (7 : 30am – 7 : 30pm)\n
  • Schedule : 3x12-hour shifts / week, 36 hours / week\n
  • Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend and holiday\n
  • Patient Ratios : 1 RN for 10-14 patients, with LPN and PCA support\n
  • Charting : Cerner EMR system\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1910 - $1960 per week\n

    • \n\nRN Qualifications & Requirements\n \n

  • Active Pennsylvania RN license or Compact State RN license\n
  • At least 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience (first-time travel nurses welcome)\n
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS\n
  • Proficiency with Cerner charting system\n
  • Ability to float to Med / Surg Tele units as needed\n
  • Previous charge nurse experience preferred\n
  • Community hospital experience preferred\n
  • PA fingerprinting and Childline registration required upon contract signing\n
  • Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing\n
  • No local candidates (must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Huntingdon, PA)\n

    • \n\nRN Responsibilities – Med / Surg Telemetry\n \n

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients\n
  • Monitor and manage patients requiring continuous cardiac telemetry\n
  • Administer medications, blood products, and cardiac / vasoactive drips (no titration)\n
  • Perform IV starts, central / peripheral line care, wound care, and tracheostomy management\n
  • Interpret cardiac telemetry, ABGs, and dysrhythmias\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physical therapy, respiratory, pharmacy, social services)\n
  • Respond to rapid response / code situations\n
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR\n
  • Educate and support patients and families\n
  • Float to related units as required\n
