Preferred is a current or former recipient of behavioral health services\nAbility to use Electronic Health Record to document services\nStrong computer skills, including proficiency in contemporary Windows operating systems and Windows office suits with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel\nAbility to learn new computer systems, experience working with data, and comfort and experience using mobile technologies\nStrongly prefer that candidate will have demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations\nHigh energy level, flexible, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a multidisciplinary team atmosphere\nStrong ability to work independently\nMUST hold a valid driver's license. Must have access to a safe, operational and insurance vehicle and be willing to use it for work\n\n\nThePeer Recovery Support Navigatoris responsible for : \n\nProviding support with outreaching, engaging, and assisting enrollees in identifying their recovery goals and developing recovery plans\nModeling recovery principles and practices within the BHCP team\nProviding linkages to recovery-oriented, peer support, self-help supports, community based mental health, substances use disorder and family support programs\nProvide assistance with navigating insurance and the healthcare system\nProviding support to individuals while they are in the hospital, detoxification programs, 24-hour and other levels of care, emergency departments, and out of home placements\nProviding assistance with solving problems directed related to recovery, including finding sober housing, making friends, finding new uses of spare time, and improving job or other life skills\nAssist with identifying and engaging Consumer Advisory Board members and support them in their participation\nDemonstrate a proactive commitment to maintaining effective communication with staff, enrollees, care team members, other collaterals, and other stakeholders and customers\nPromote strong working relationships and excellent customer service\nActively participate in team meetings and supervisions\nComplete all required documentation in a timely manner\nEnsure that individuals receiving services are treated with dignity and respect in accordance with BHPMW's Human Rights Policy\nStrictly adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality policies at all times, including when responding to inquiries for enrollee information\n\n\nStrong ability to work independently\nMUST hold a valid driver's license.
