Financial Accounting Analyst

Entry-level Financial Accounting Analyst role responsible for month-end close activities, financial statement analytics and other corporate accounting matters, as well as involvement with special projects and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be inquisitive with a passion for learning, eagerness to take on new challenges and desire for professional development.

Job Duties And Responsibilities :

• Perform corporate accounting duties related to month-end close to ensure financial statements are accurate in support of internal and external reporting
• Prepare monthly journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and ensure account balances are properly stated
• Assist with analyzing consolidated financial statements and provide variance explanations
• Assist with preparation and analysis of separate partnership financial statements
• Maintain desk procedures and SOX documentation for assigned areas
• Assist with research on various accounting topics, as requested
• Communicate accounting issues and resolutions to impacted groups
• Respond timely and accurately to inquiries from auditors
• Collaborate cross-functionally on special projects and other ad hoc requests
• Other duties as assigned
