Description :

Join a dynamic imaging department focused on outpatient services.

The position offers varying locations for mammography services.

Experience in both diagnostic and screening imaging is essential.

Dexa experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Common procedures include wire localization and biopsies.

The average number of mammograms performed daily is approximately 18.

Familiarity with EMR systems and PACS software is required.

The department uses specific software for mammography-related tasks.

Various imaging equipment is utilized, including Hologic and DEXA machines.

Support from a radiologist is available on-site for all contrast and procedure exams.

There is no requirement to start IVs.

Shifts may vary between 0730-2130 for 8-hour schedules from Monday to Friday.

Occasional Saturday shifts may be required based on the contract.

No on-call or holiday requirements are associated with this position.

The hospital may cancel up to three times per contract.

Cancellation may involve a full shift or part of a shift.

Each location is approximately 15 minutes from one another to facilitate scheduling.
